Star Wars is a space opera as told from the point of view of a small robot called R2-D2.[1] It tells the story of the fight between good and evil.

Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi find a young boy called Anakin Skywalker and believe he has The Force. They train him up to be a Jedi. He falls in love with a Queen called Padmé Amidala. He has visions of the queen dying in childbirth, he is lured to The Dark Side by Seantor Palpatine whom convinces Anakin that The Dark Side can save the queens life. Anakin assumes the name Darth Vader and has a fight with Obi-Wan Kenobi who leaves Vader for dead. Palpatine finds him and saves his life. Padmé dies giving birth to Luke and Leia who are split up.

Fleeing the empire, Princess Leia entrusts the plans to The Death Star to R2-D2 including a message to Obi-Wan Kenobi. R2-D2 comes across Luke Skywalker on a planet who views the message and takes it to Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan explains to Luke that Luke's father was a Jedi who was killed by Darth Vader. Luke and Obi-Wan join forces with a smuggler to take them to Leia's homeworld only to find it has been destroyed by The Death Star. They rescue a captured Leia and use the knowledge learnt from the stolen plans to destroy The Death Star.
A few years later, rebels fighting against the Empire are found on a frozen planet and a battle ensues. Luke escapes and travels to a planet to train with Jedi Master Yoda. Leia and Han flee together and become close. Vader captures Leia and Han hoping that he can tempt Luke to rescue them. Vader freezes Han and hands him over to Jabba the Hut; Leia escapes. Luke arrives to confront Vader where Vader tells Luke that he is his father and tries to convince him to join the dark side. Leia rescues Luke.
Luke rescues Han from Jabba. The rebels learn that a second death star is being constructed and is protected by a force field generated on a nearby planet. Luke visits Vader to try and convince him away from the dark side. Vader takes Luke to Palpatine to try and convince him to the dark side. Meanwhile, it turns out that the intelligence on the force field was leading the rebels into an ambush. Palpantine almost kills Luke which angers Vader who protects Luke by killing Palpatine. The rebels and the planet locals overpower the ambush by The Empire. The rebels then destroy the second death star.

Fleeing an attack, Poe Dameron entrusts part of a map, leading to Luke Skywalker, to a robot called BB-8. Poe is then captured by Kylo Ren (son of Han and Leia). BB-8 comes across Rey. Meanwhile a Stormtrooper, Finn, defects and aides Poe in escaping. They both crash land on a planet and stumble their separate ways. Finn runs in to Rey, then The First Order (created from the ashes of The Empire) track BB-8 and try to acquire it. Finn, Rey and BB-8 escape on Han's old spaceship. Han re-captures his ship and then group go to meet with Maz Kanata. While there, Rey finds the Lightsabre that used to belong to Anakin and Luke. Upon touching the lightsabre, she has a vision. The First Order attack again, Rey is captured and taken by Kylo to a new Death Star, the rest of the group escape but travel to rescue Rey. Han confronts Kylo but is killed by him. The new Death Star is destroyed. Rey travels to the co-ordinates of the map and finds Luke Skywalker. When Rey find Luke, she asks him to train her, which he initially refuses. At the same time, The Rebellion is fleeing The First Order who can track The Rebellion even through light speed. Finn sets off with an engineer to disable the tracker, they fail. R2-D2 convinces Luke to train Rey and he is lead to believe she may be drawn to the darkside and stops training her. She flees the island to try and convince Kylo to switch to the good side, she fails. The rebellion escape to a planet where they are found by The First Order and attacked. Luke appears via Force Projection and distracts The Rebellion while they escape with Rey in the Millennium Falcon. Luke used so much Force that he dies.
